Tampa (Florida) Bertram Yachts, marchio americano parte del Gruppo Gavio, annuncia la nomina del nuovo amministratore delegato. Si tratta di Mark Paulhus (nella foto), 35 anni nel settore tra Chris-Craft, OMC e Brunswick Corporation. Grande esperienza internazionale, ha ricoperto numerosi ruoli di alto livello nello sviluppo di prodotti, nella pianificazione strategica e nella gestione generale. Dal 2008 al 2015 è stato vicepresidente, direttore generale e infine presidente del gruppo belga Brunswick, mentre dal 2015 al 2019 è stato vicepresidente senior per lo sviluppo e l’ingegneria dei prodotti per conto della divisione Sea Ray di Brunswick.

Bertram Yachts nasce nel 1960 quando il suo fondatore Dick Bertram – yacht broker e powerboat racer costruisce Moppie, 31 piedi, lanciando una linea di barche sportiva da competizione conosciuta in tutto il mondo per la loro eccellente manovrabilità e tenuta anche in condizioni meteo difficili. La tradizione continua quindi nel nuovo cantiere di Tampa, in Florida. Oltre ai modelli 35′ e 61′, presto sarà svelato anche un 50 piedi rivoluzionario. Per la cronaca il 35 flybridge lanciato nel settembre 2016 ha ricscosso un grande successo, soprattutto sul mercato Usa.

Bertram Yachts appoints Mark Paulhus its Chief Executive Officer
Tampa (Flodida) Iconic American boat builder Bertram Yachts is delighted to announce that Mark Paulhus has joined its team as Chief Executive Officer. Paulhus has spent 35 years in the recreational marine industry at Chris-Craft, OMC, and Brunswick Corporation. He comes to Bertram after spending 28 years at Brunswick where he held numerous high level domestic and international roles in product development, strategic planning, and general management. From 2008 to 2015 he provided leadership to the Brunswick European Boat Group in Belgium as Vice President and then General Manager/President and from 2015 to 2019 has served as Sr. Vice President of Product Development & Engineering for Brunswick’s Sea Ray division.
